A simple temperature measurement method can be used with a thermometer or a rough judgment: it can be touched for more than 1-2 seconds by hand, not more than 60 degrees; It can only be touched by hand, about 70-80 degrees; A few drops of water vaporize rapidly, and the temperature is above 90 degrees.
Generally, motor heating will not affect the life of the motor, so most customers need not worry too much. However, severe fever can have some negative effects. If the thermal expansion coefficient of each part of the motor is different, the structural stress and the internal air gap will change slightly, which will affect the dynamic response of the motor, and it will be easy to lose step at high speed. For another example, excessive heating of the motor is not allowed in some occasions, such as medical devices and high-precision testing equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to control the heating of the motor. When the motor temperature is too high, you can choose to stop the machine, rest for a period of time, and then continue to work. You can also add a radiator outside the motor to ensure that the heat of the motor is emitted in time.
